Finnegan is pleased to announce that Ningling Wang, managing partner of the firm’s Shanghai office, has been confirmed to be on the Board of Directors for Licensing Executives Society International (LESI). Ningling also serves on the Board of Directors for Licensing Executives Society (LES) China and has held other leadership roles within LESI and LES China. As a board member of LESI, Ningling will focus on strengthening the committees and assisting the treasurer in financial matters.
Finnegan has a long history with LESI and LES, as the firm’s cofounder, Marc Finnegan, was instrumental in founding LESI and he served as president of LES from 1973-1974. LESI is the umbrella organization of national and regional associations for licensing executives. A board of directors and a board of delegates, consisting of representatives of all national and regional societies, oversee the activities of LESI. LESI maintains various geographically based LES Societies, providing educational content and facilitating professional networking between its members. LESI also informs and interacts with global organizations and policy forums concerning the economic significance and importance of licensing and other transfer of technology and intellectual property rights.
