Ben Schlesinger, managing partner of the firm's Atlanta office, is a registered patent attorney, focusing on patent litigation and client counseling in the electrical and computer technology fields. He practices before U.S. district courts, state courts, and the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC).
Ben has considerable experience representing companies in litigations from inception through trial and appeal. He represents both patent owners and accused infringers across a wide range of technologies, including software/firmware, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), smartphones, video processing, telecommunications, semiconductors, consumer products, and various other electrical and computer technologies. Ben also counsels clients on licensing, due diligence, and portfolio analysis, as well as IP issues related to open source.
Prior to his legal career, Ben worked as a control systems engineer for a large aircraft engine manufacturer. While obtaining his undergraduate degree, he worked as an electrical engineering co-op with several engineering companies, including a large electronics company in Germany.
