William B. Raich Ph.D.

Bill Raich focuses his practice on district court patent litigation, and pre-litigation client counseling, in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, and small molecule therapeutics. He also handles transactional matters including patent license and settlement agreements.
Dr. Raich has experience in Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) and traditional patent litigations, and has litigated infringement, validity, enforceability, inventorship, and trade secret misappropriation.
Prior to joining the firm, Dr. Raich conducted post-doctoral research in molecular biology and neuroscience in the laboratory of Nobel Laureate Eric Kandel at Columbia University. While working as a graduate student and post-doctoral researcher, Dr. Raich coauthored six peer-reviewed scientific publications.
