In 2015, the International Olympic Committee revised Rule 40 of the Olympic Charter to allow non-Olympic sponsors to use participant images in advertising, subject to certain conditions. In this webinar, we will discuss the significant implications of this revised Rule on non-sponsor advertisers and consider lessons learned relative to the 2016 Summer Games, in anticipation of the upcoming 2018 Winter Games in South Korea.
