WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers have released the 2010 “Best Law Firms” rankings, recognizing Finnegan as a Tier 1 law firm for Intellectual Property Law in the National and Washington, DC categories and Tier 2 in the Atlanta, Boston, and San Francisco categories. Finnegan’s Washington, DC office was also recognized as Tier 2 in the Information Technology Law category.
These inaugural rankings, which are presented in tiers both nationally and by metropolitan area or by state, showcase 8,782 different law firms ranked in one or more of 81 major practice areas. The rankings are based on over a year of research and interviews with more than 9,500 different law firm clients and 8,000 U.S. lawyers. All were asked to identify the law firms they considered to be the top in the nation
