Sajeth Dinakaran, Ph.D., applies his extensive knowledge in molecular biology and translational medicine to intellectual property (IP) matters in the biological and pharmaceutical fields. He focuses on patent prosecution and strategic counseling related to U.S. and international patent portfolios pertaining to a wide variety of technologies within the life sciences sector.
Sajeth has experience in developing global prosecution strategies. He assists in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in multiple areas in the life sciences, including antibodies, dietary supplements, fusion protein therapies, gene editing technologies, gene therapy, immuno-oncology, modified polynucleotides, fusion protein therapies, and small molecules.
With a doctorate in the molecular basis of medicine, Sajeth’s technical expertise includes areas such as vascular pathology, neurodegenerative disorders, and drug screening for development of therapeutics. His dissertation focused on exploring the role of cell cycle regulation in hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia.
