Technical Specialist
Olivia Rose King possesses a multidisciplinary background in both systems and biomedical engineering with a focus on human factors, computational modeling, and bioinformatics. Her experience spans advanced research, complex computer science techniques, and systems thinking, providing a strong technical foundation for supporting clients in complex intellectual property (IP) matters.
In her doctoral studies at the University of Virginia, Olivia investigated the intersection of the computer science concept of complex formal modeling and healthcare safety and reliability. She focused her dissertation work on developing a translational program for observational data to formal verification language, multiple case analysis, and leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to create accessible analyses for subject matter experts. Olivia’s research was recognized through peer-reviewed publications and awards.
As an undergraduate researcher at Boston University, Olivia contributed to the development of optical wearable technology for hydration monitoring, research in medical imaging visualization, and analysis of biomechanical data.
Olivia’s technical experience extends to data analytics and software development. She is proficient in Python, MATLAB, R, Java, and probabilistic model checking tools. Her work regularly combines experimental research, modeling, data analysis, and software engineering to evaluate complex systems and technologies.
