Associate
Eric is involved in prosecuting patents and managing patent portfolios for pharmaceutical and petrochemical clients. Eric also assists with due diligence investigations and contributes to freedom to operate and patentability analyses.
Eric's academic training and work experience equip him to handle all technologies in the chemical space, such as small molecule therapeutics, catalysts, polymers and materials. Prior to joining Finnegan, Eric completed a doctorate in organic chemistry with a focus on natural product synthesis and medicinal chemistry. Eric's graduate research also incorporated related technical areas including biochemistry, chemical biology, spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, proteomics and protein synthesis. Eric had two years of experience in polymer chemistry research and development for a consumer products company.
