Dmytro Panchenko focuses on complex intellectual property (IP) disputes before federal courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), as well as strategic counseling matters across a broad range of technologies.

Dmytro has experience assisting with early motion practice, technical strategy, claim construction, expert and fact discovery, and trial preparation. In inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the PTAB, Dmytro has represented both petitioners and patent owners, including by working with technical experts in preparing supporting declarations and testimony for depositions and hearings. His technical experience covers a wide range of industries, including cybersecurity, wireless networking, video streaming, connected TV advertising, artificial intelligence (AI)-driven dental technologies, vaporizer devices, spatial biology, and single-cell genomics.

While pursuing his law degree, Dmytro was an articles editor for the Columbia Science and Technology Law Review and worked for an autonomous vehicle company on patent matters in self-driving technologies, as well as trademark and competitive intelligence issues.

Prior to law school, Dmytro conducted research with the Electron Beam Ion Trap group at a premier federal research and development center in California. Dmytro is the author of several scientific publications on atomic physics and X-ray spectroscopy.
