Associate
Alex Park focuses on patent litigation and prosecution within the mechanical and electrical sectors. He draws on his engineering academics and work experience in the software industry to serve clients across a diverse range of technological fields, including software as a service (SaaS), e-commerce, artificial intelligence (AI), autonomous vehicles, and other emerging technologies. Alex is committed to leveraging his blend of technical expertise and legal knowledge to provide effective solutions for clients’ intellectual property needs.
Alex prepares and prosecutes software patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). He manages Office Action responses and provides IP due diligence. Alex’s technical knowledge encompasses application and web development, human-computer interaction, programming, and machine learning (ML), among other areas.
During law school, Alex was an executive board member with the Intellectual Property & Technology Forum at Boston College Law School. He was also a member of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association (APALSA).
Prior to his legal career, Alex worked at a global professional services consulting firm, specializing in information technology services. He was involved in various software design and development projects for Fortune 500 clients, through which he experienced the full software development lifecycle–from strategy to development and deployment.
