A registered patent attorney, Akihiro primarily represents foreign companies, along with their U.S. affiliates and subsidiaries, across a wide spectrum of chemistry-related and pharmaceutical technologies. His technical experience includes active pharmaceutical ingredients, drug formulations, semiconductors, light-emitting diodes (LEDs), organic LEDs (OLEDs), and optical components.
With a dual focus on litigation and prosecution, Akihiro frequently travels to Japan to advise clients on identifying legal risks and protecting their IP interests in the United States and globally. He also provides strategic guidance on matters before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the U.S. court system, and on emerging legal trends affecting client industries.
