Adam Boger's practice includes post-grant review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), patent prosecution, and client counseling. His practice areas include medical devices, cryptography, FinTech, digital rights management, bioinformatics, and computer and cellular networking.
Adam has prepared and prosecuted patent applications directed to a wide range of subject matter, such as machine learning, blockchain and smart contract technologies, cellular networking, and technical improvements in data processing. He also has experience related to financial applications, which include payment, user authentication, procurement management, and smart contracting applications built on a variety of blockchain technologies. In addition, Adam's technical expertise includes automatic control systems, signal processing, and medical devices, such as pacemakers, defibrillators, and spinal cord stimulators.
Adam's doctoral research was in neurostimulation and neuromodulation, with a focus on electrical nerve block for neural prosthetics. He also investigated validation of electrical nerve block for pain applications using parasympathetic nerve block models. His pre-doctoral graduate studies focused on automatic control systems, signal processing, and robotics.
During law school, Adam worked as a summer associate at Finnegan, gaining valuable experience on prosecution matters. He also participated in the Emory University School of Law TI:GER program in technology commercialization.
