The Patent Resources Group provides advanced patent law courses for established patent practitioners. Finnegan attorneys Stephen Kabakoff, Brian Kacedon, and William Pratt will lecture on “Drafting Patent License Agreements.” James Barney will present “Federal Circuit Law (2014-2016).” Deborah Herzfeld and Jill MacAlpine will present “Prep. & Prosecution of U.S. Pharma Patents to Survive AIA, Post-Grant & Hatch-Waxman Proceedings.” Carla Mouta and Danielle Pfifferling will present “Biotech Patent Practice.” Jill MacAlpine will present “Chemical Patent Practice.” Anthony Gutowski, Deborah Herzfeld, and Louis Troilo will present “Patent Due Diligence in the AIA Era.”
Two new courses have been added to the fall schedule: “Strategies to Protect Innovation and Leverage IP Value Through Trade Secret Law," presented by York Faulkner, Robert McCauley, Mareesa Frederick, and John Williamson; and "U.S. Electrical & Computer Patent Practice," presented by Justin Hendrix, Esther Lim, Luke McCammon, Brandon Rash, and Jason Stach.
