Join us for AIPLA’s annual community service event:
Volunteers will gather at The Grateful Garment Project’s facilities in San Jose to provide much needed help with counting and tagging inventory for kits and resource replenishment.
Supporting The Grateful Garment Project
Did you know that sexual assault victims seeking medical attention often leave their clothing with medical technicians to be processed for DNA evidence? Due to tight budgets, victims are given only a paper hospital gown to wear home.
The Grateful Garment Project (TGGP) provides clothing, food, and grooming supplies to Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) centers throughout California. Active in 29 California counties, TGGP delivers resources used by 25-40 women, children, and men every day. Most importantly, TGGP helps return dignity to victims.
Want to do more?
