Understanding the complex U.S. patent system is critical for European patent practitioners seeking to engage in successful procurement and enforcement of patents. This two-day course will provide essential guidance on the creation and procurement of patents and their exploitation, and enforcement in the U.S. The first day will cover identifying the invention, protecting it, and then prosecuting it before the USPTO.
