Shayda Shahbazi focuses her practice on patent prosecution in various technologies, including communication networks, Internet technologies, electrical power, electro-mechanical systems, and virtual reality systems.
Prior to joining Finnegan, Ms. Shahbazi worked as a technical specialist and legal assistant at a patent law firm in Washington, D.C. She assisted with the preparation and prosecution of patent applications with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). She also drafted instructions for filings in international patent offices.
During her undergraduate studies, Ms. Shahbazi worked as an intern at Northrop Grumman, Honeywell, and Cisco, specializing in software and network systems.
