The Patent Resources Group provides advanced patent law courses for established patent practitioners. Finnegan attorneys Ron Bleeker, Brian Kacedon, Pat O'Reilley, and Bill Pratt will teach “Drafting Patent License Agreements.” Bryan Diner, Anthony Gutowski, Tom Irving, and Jill MacAlpine will teach “Due Diligence Investigations.” Tom Irving, and Scott Lee will join AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals' Karen Cochran in teaching a course on FDA Orange Book and listable small molecule patents. Jean Fordis, Erik Puknys, and Eric Raciti will teach “Patent Opinions, Strategy, and Tactics,” covering the Federal Circuit's willfulness "trilogy" (Knorr-Bremse, EchoStar, and Seagate), as well as dozens of other Federal Circuit and district court cases. And, Paul Browning, Tom Irving, Erik Puknys, and Mark Sweet will teach a course apprising chemical patent practitioners of the possibilities created by using Professor Kayton's famous LP-CD principles to prepare and prosecute a U.S. chemical patent application in a conservative way. The courses will be at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress in Bonita Springs, Florida. For more information, or to register, please see Patent Resources Group's website.
