Mukta Jhalani

Associate

Mukta Jhalani focuses her practice on patent litigation, patent prosecution, and client counseling. Ms. Jhalani works primarily in the areas of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals, but has also been involved in matters concerning electrical and computer technologies.

Ms. Jhalani's litigation experience includes matters before U.S. district courts and the U.S. International Trade Commission. She has managed fact discovery, worked with fact and expert witnesses, and drafted motions and legal briefs. In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Jhalani actively prosecutes patent applications in the area of biotechnology.

While in law school, Ms. Jhalani worked at Finnegan as a summer associate. Her undergraduate studies included work on several molecular biology and pharmacology research projects relating to topics such as epileptogenesis and molecular genetics of plant development.
