Mayssam H. Ali Ph.D.
Associate
Mayssam Ali’s practice includes client counseling, patent litigation, and patent prosecution (foreign and domestic), primarily in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology sectors. Dr. Ali has substantial experience in due diligence and prelitigation investigations. She has also worked on various aspects of patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation litigation.
Dr. Ali joined Finnegan in 2005, after completing her Ph.D. in organic chemistry. During her graduate studies, Dr. Ali designed and biophysically characterized oligomeric peptides with protein-like properties that constitute models for the study of natural proteins. She also conducted graduate research in the field of organometallic chemistry.
