Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO)

The Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO) is presenting a one-day conference at the Ronald Reagan Building & International Trade Center in Washington, DC, to showcase the results of its recent survey on the relationship between corporate IP practices and corporate performance. Drs. Rebecca Henderson of MIT and Ian Cockburn of Boston University, who conducted the analysis of the data collected in the survey, will present the results, which will then be discussed by three panels of leading corporate IP professionals. Among the key items for discussion will be how IP fits into the corporate hierarchy and how licensing affects corporate IP strategy. Finnegan Partner and IPO Corporate IP Management Committee Vice Chair Ron Bleeker will moderate two of the panels. Finnegan is sponsoring a Continental Breakfast for attendees. The Honorable Paul R. Michel of the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will address the group at a special luncheon, commenting on the current IP system and IP public policy. CLE credit in varying amounts may be awarded for participation. For more information and/or to register for this program, visit www.ipo.org.
