Finnegan attorney Anthony Tridico will present at the Patent Center of the University of Barcelona's Los Lunes de Patentes group meeting on "Inter Partes reexamination: A Low Cost Alternative to Litigation in the U.S. and Prosecution Strategies in View of the Historically Low Allowance Rate at the USPTO." The presentation will discuss how inter partes reexam differs from an opposition at the EPO, how the procedure can be used to a company's advantage, and what strategies to consider when requesting an inter partes reexam of a U.S. patent.
