Lillian M. Robinson

Associate

Lillian Robinson practices patent litigation and client counseling, primarily in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and mechanical areas. Her litigation experience includes numerous aspects of trial preparation, including fact discovery, motions practice, working with expert witnesses, and conducting depositions. She has also prepared briefs before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Before law school, Ms. Robinson worked in a microbiology lab at Massachusetts Eye and Ear in Boston. Her research focused on the study of gene transfer in antibiotic resistant bacteria. Prior to joining Finnegan, she worked at a general practice firm, drafting responses to office actions and performing invalidity analyses.

  • Served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Kara F. Stoll at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, 2015-2016.
  • Serves as an editor for Finnegan's Federal Circuit IP blog.
