C. Larry O'Rourke
Senior Counsel
Larry O'Rourke has more than 30 years of experience in intellectual property law, focusing primarily in the electronic and computer industries and in IP litigation. His litigation experience goes beyond the trial-court level, for he has served as lead appellate counsel in patent appeals at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He has also handled Section 337 investigations at the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), dealing with unfair trade practices for both complainants and respondents.
Many of Mr. O’Rourke's federal court litigations and ITC cases have involved corporations from the Pacific Rim. He has traveled frequently to Japan, Korea, China, and other Pacific Rim countries, and draws on his familiarity with the cultures of these countries in his litigation of cases involving Asian companies.
