Jeffrey A. Freeman

Jeff Freeman's practice includes a balance of patent litigation, prosecution, and opinion work. His litigation practice is primarily focused in the chemical and biotechnologies fields, with a particular emphasis on Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) litigation, including extensive experience from early phase document collection and production, to fact and expert discovery, to trial witness preparation, examination, and post-trial briefing. Mr. Freeman has also worked on litigation matters for small to mid-size clients, including strategy formulation, motion drafting, and deposition preparation and examination.
Mr. Freeman's prosecution practice includes both domestic and foreign prosecution, ranging from work on focused portions of large international-based clients' prosecution portfolios to the management of entire prosecution portfolios for smaller to mid-size clients. His patent prosecution and opinion work often involve matters relating to pulp and paper, inorganic materials, and cosmetics.
In 2003, Mr. Freeman interned with the examination division of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
