In The National Law Journal’s (NLJ) inaugural Intellectual Property Hot List, Finnegan was included as one of 20 firms that excel in providing patent, copyright, and trademark legal services. NLJ highlighted Finnegan’s work regarding Eli Lilly and Co. v. Wockhardt Ltd., where the firm stopped “numerous generic drug makers from muscling into the multibillion-dollar market for depression and diabetes-related pain drug Cymbalta®.” Finnegan partner Dori Hines stated that “Clients like Eli Lilly “look to us for important cases about maintaining their exclusivity.”” NLJ also highlighted Finnegan’s win for United Technologies Corp. at the Eastern District of Virginia, work for HTC at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and ITC, and a key win for Finnegan client Uniloc at the Federal Circuit.
