USPTO Issues Interim Examiner Instructions for Patent-Eligible Subject Matter

The USPTO has issued these Interim Instructions so its examiners would examine claims for patent-eligible subject matter under 35 U.S.C. § 101 in a consistent manner. The Instructions include explanatory flowcharts for examining product claims and method claims.
