Are you an IP employer with an immediate position opening, or a junior or experienced IP practitioner looking to make a move? Perhaps you are a prospective employer interested in what kinds of candidates are in the “diversity pipeline,” or a minority practitioner in need of a mentor or concrete professional networking avenues? The purpose of this session is to bring potential employers and mentors together with lateral hiring candidates as well as law students about to enter IP practice to discuss both specific opportunities as well as overarching diversity recruitment and career development issues. During the panel session, experienced IP practitioners will provide career advancement advice and discuss current position openings, and also provide information and guidance to law students preparing to enter the field. A networking reception will follow the panel to provide an opportunity for professional networking, resumé and contact information exchanges, and one-on-one meetings and discussions.
