Eric C. Jeschke
Associate
Eric Jeschke practices patent litigation, counseling, and prosecution. Currently, Mr. Jeschke devotes most of his time to litigating before the U.S. International Trade Commission, federal district courts, and arbitrators in various technological fields, including medical devices, automobiles, and consumer electronics. His litigation experience includes pre-litigation investigation and evaluation, drafting claim construction and summary judgment motions, assisting to prepare technical experts for trial, conducting and defending depositions, as well as examining witnesses at trial.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Jeschke advises clients on a wide variety of patent matters. He has counseled clients and written opinions of counsel involving power generation systems and transportation equipment. He has also drafted and prosecuted several patent applications involving compressor systems, location and ranging systems, and transportation equipment.
Prior to his legal career, Mr. Jeschke was an officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he gained extensive experience in aircraft systems as an aircraft maintenance officer charged with maintaining a squadron of B-1B bombers. Mr. Jeschke also served as a developmental engineer, overseeing various aspects of the Atlas V satellite launch program.

- Defended Toyota Motor Corp. in a district court litigation involving Toyota's hybrid technology: client prevailed on summary judgment.
- Represented Abbott Laboratories in an arbitration regarding drug-eluting stent technology against one of its primary competitors: client won on all issues and recovered attorney fees.
- Serves as an associate editor of weekly submissions to the Licensing Executive Society's Insights newsletter.
- Awarded Best Overall, Best Brief, Best Oralist in 2007 George Washington University Law School IP Moot Court Competition.
