Christopher Isaac focuses his practice on litigation and client counseling in a variety of chemical, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.

Mr. Isaac has represented clients as both plaintiffs and defendants before numerous U.S. courts in virtually all phases of complex district court lawsuits involving patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and antitrust issues. He has actively participated in dozens of court hearings, including complex discovery disputes, jurisdictional hearings, bifurcation hearings, summary judgment hearings, and Markman hearings. In addition to actual experience in the courtroom, Mr. Isaac has taken or defended more than a hundred depositions of fact and expert witnesses, including inventors, patent law experts, technical experts, and damages experts. Mr. Isaac's experience in all aspects of discovery and motion practice is extensive. He has coordinated overall case strategy and day-to-day litigation activities in dozens of high-value litigations for clients such as, Sony, Coca-Cola, Topcon, BTG, and Organon Teknika.

Mr. Isaac also has particular experience in client counseling. He advises clients on legal and legal-related management issues. He has lectured on topics such as litigation strategy and strategy relating to building and exploiting an intellectual property portfolio.

Highlights

• Co-first chaired an 8-day jury trial that resulted in a jury verdict of infringement for the patent owner.
