Christopher Agrawal assists high-tech companies with obtaining patent protection and analyzing patent-related risks and opportunities.
Mr. Agrawal’s practice includes prosecuting patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), involving a wide range of mechanical, computer, and Internet-related technologies. Mr. Agrawal also counsels clients on portfolio strategies, patent validity and infringement, and freedom to market new products.
During law school, Mr. Agrawal worked as a patent examiner at the USPTO, where he reviewed patent applications covering manufacturing technologies, including nano-manufacturing and robotic assembly of spark plugs and semiconductors. Mr. Agrawal also worked as a patent agent at Finnegan for more than three years.
While earning his undergraduate degree, Mr. Agrawal researched nanotechnology techniques during the design and manufacture of a nanopositioning stage for carbon-nanotubes.
