Sponsored jointly by the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology and The University of Texas School of Law, this fourth annual conference will focus on issues faced by advanced practitioners in corporate IP departments and leading law firms. Jean Fordis, who is also serving as a presiding officer, will speak about issues related to ownership/inventorship, and Erik Puknys will examine trends in indirect infringement and indemnification. The program also features four Northern District of California judges in a panel discussion about what they dislike in patent cases and what can be done to help. The program will take place in San Jose, California.
