This four-day conference in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, offers new strategies and best practices in intellectual property law as presented by top practitioners in the field. At the Thursday plenary session, Thomas Irving will serve as moderator— and as "patent wizard"— of "The Associate: A Contest in Claim Drafting and Interpretation." In the spirit of "The Apprentice," panelists/contestants will be put to the test of proving themselves as master claim drafters. On Friday, Erik Puknys presents "So You've Succeeded in the U.S.— What are Those Broad Rights Worth in Europe and Japan? A Comparative Discussion of Claim Interpretation." Also on Friday, C. Edward Good will lead a committee educational session on "Writing Skills for Clearer Patents, Opinions, and Briefs—That or Which: Which Is It?"
