Finnegan attorney Erik Puknys will present on Extraterritoriality at the Eleventh Annual Advanced Patent Law Institute to be held at the Four Seasons in Austin, TX. At the Friday session, Mr. Puknys will discuss the Federal Circuit’s recent decision to expand the ability of U.S. patent holders to redress infringement that occurs in whole or in part beyond U.S. borders. He will also provide suggestions both for expanding the reach of a patent portfolio to cover competitors’ activities and for limiting potential exposure.
