Managing Intellectual Property Names Finnegan Specialty IP Firm of the Year for 2012

WASHINGTON, DC - For the fifth consecutive year at its annual North American IP awards dinner, Managing Intellectual Property (MIP) recognized Finnegan with its top award—Specialty IP Firm of the Year (previously categorized as Full Service IP Firm of the Year). In addition, the firm won two other awards: Life Sciences/Biotech Firm of the Year in the United States and Patent Prosecution Firm of the Year in the United States.

The firm was also a finalist in nearly every national intellectual property category, including patent, trademark, and ITC. The firm's strong showing in all of these categories contributed significantly to the firm winning the Specialty IP Firm of the Year award for the fifth time.

MIP is a leading international magazine for IP owners. It has more than 10,000 subscribers, of which two-thirds are senior in-house counsel for multinational companies. MIP conducts an annual World IP survey of 2,000 global practitioners (including in-house counsel and law firm attorneys) to identify and rank leading law firms in the IP field. A list of all of the awards and winners can be found at http://www.managingip.com/.
