Lauren Stevens practices strategic client counseling and patent procurement in the pharmaceutical area, including the preparation of validity, infringement, and freedom to operate opinions regarding chemical and pharmaceutical patents.

Dr. Stevens has advised clients around the world on intellectual property matters related to a wide range of technologies, including the areas of pharmaceuticals (small organic molecule and peptide); combinatorial chemistry and solid phase synthesis; assay technologies and targets; bioinformatics; and instrumentation. Dr. Stevens frequently speaks on topics related to pharmaceutical patent law, including foreign filing strategies and FDA Orange Book listings.

Dr. Stevens has extensive corporate experience, including patent portfolio development, IP due diligence, and IP licensing in both biotechnology start-up and large pharmaceutical environments.
