Laura P. Masurovsky

Laura Masurovsky is a seasoned litigator with more than 30 jury and bench trials. Her cases cover a variety of technologies including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and consumer electronics.
Ms. Masurovsky previously served as a special assistant U.S. attorney in the District of Columbia, worked at Williams & Connolly litigating white collar criminal and complex commercial cases, and ran her own law practice. She has negotiated and implemented law enforcement treaties as an assistant legal advisor at the State Department.

- Lilly v. Teva (Fed. Cir.). Federal Circuit affirmed trial court’s determination concerning Lilly’s patents on its blockbuster drug Evista®.
- Lilly v. Zenith Goldline Pharm. (Fed. Cir.). Enforced Lilly’s patent in an Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) litigation resulting in permanent injunction.
- Telcordia v. Lucent & Cisco (D. Del.). Represented Telcordia in a jury trial resulting in a favorable verdict on infringement and damages.
- Audio MPEG v. Creative and Audio MPEG v. Thomson (E.D. Va.). Led litigation on enforcement of patents on MPEG audio technology.
- Philips v. IP Global (S.D.N.Y.). Led litigation for IP Global’s enforcement of a licensing portfolio.
- Adjunct professor of patent law, Haifa University, Israel, 2010; and Howard University School of Law, 2005-present.
- Adjunct professor of trial advocacy, George Washington University Law School, 2001-2005.
- Instructor, University of Virginia Trial Advocacy Institute, 2000-2003.
