Finnegan partner Elizabeth Ferrill will present “Future of Design” at the inaugural meeting of the ID5: Industrial Design Forum. The United States Patent & Trademark Office ID5 Forum will include government representatives from the Japan Patent Office (JPO), the USPTO, the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market (Trademarks and Designs) (OHIM), China’s State Administration for Industry and Commerce (SAIC), and the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) in an closed-door session reflected on past predictions about the direction of industrial design and discussed where design is headed in the future.
