FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
November 6, 2015
WASHINGTON, DC—On November 19, 2015, Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP will sponsor the first annual Law Rocks DC fundraising concert. Law Rocks benefits local nonprofit organizations in cities across the world through “battle-of-the-band” fundraising concerts, starring legal professionals-turned-rock stars. In addition to sponsoring the event, Finnegan’s very own rock band, REDACTED, will participate in the fundraiser to raise money for Children’s Law Center, an organization that assists children in Washington, DC who have been abused, neglected, or live in impoverished housing conditions.
For the past 10 years, Finnegan has also supported Banding Together, a battle of law firm bands benefitting Gifts for the Homeless, a wholly volunteer-run organization that raises money to distribute clothing and blankets to the Washington, DC area’s homeless population. REDACTED has participated in the “Battle of the Law Firm Bands” for the past three years.
Law Rocks DC will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2015, at 7:00 p.m., at the 9:30 Club, 815 V Street, NW. For tickets, please visit http://lawrocks.org/wdc/.

Our vision is to make a real difference in cities around the world by raising funds and attention for local organizations that change local lives. Each Law Rocks concert is a memorable event where legal professionals can let their hair down and have a blast. At the end of the night the winning band is selected by three factors—total fundraising, audience favorite, and total score from a Rock Panel of judges.
