Herzliya, Israel
University of Haifa
This lecture series is designed for CEOs, CTOs, and IP managers of companies in which patents play a significant role in overall strategy. The lectures are designed to provide valuable insights for top executives and IP managers.
Speakers: Gerson Panitch, Esq. of Finnegan, and Dr. Steve O’Connor, Esq. of Finnegan
All patents are not created equal. Some are hugely valuable, and others are not worth the paper on which they are written. Regardless of whether your company is building a portfolio for sale or considering a portfolio for purchase, you need to be able to efficiently assess the difference. During this lecture, Gerson and Steve will share their tricks on how to structure a due diligence analysis to efficiently assess patent value, and how to make sure that your company doesn’t end up losing value because it infringes someone else’s patents.
The Executives' Guide to Patent Strategy: IP Monetization, Licensing, and Due Diligence seminar will also be taking place on 3 July 2012, 10 July 2012, 24 July 2012 and 31 July 2012.
All lectures will take place at Beit Heyl Ha’Avir Auditorium (Israel Air Force Center Foundation)
