Working Mother
Finnegan attorney Beth Ferrill was featured as one of Working Mother magazine's "2013 Working Mothers of the Year." The mother of nineteen-month-old twins, Ferrill spoke with Working Mother about her experience adjusting to life as a working mom. Her twin babies were born 12 weeks early and spent their first two months in the NICU. “Once the babies came home, the firm’s generous maternity leave allowed me ample time for all of us to settle in as a family,” she said. “Finnegan allows parents to return to work on a part-time basis initially, which helped me figure out how to navigate the transition to being a working mom.”
Speaking on her career, Ferrill told Working Mother,“My law practice at Finnegan is a busy and challenging mix of patent litigation and prosecution. I am grateful every day to have such an amazing career and two wonderful kids. Everyone from the named partners to the cashier in the dining room frequently asks me how my kids are doing, and I’m happy to report that we are happy, healthy family of three. I appreciate all the support from the Finnegan family.”
